Forging Technology

How our wheels are made

Construction

Forged wheels are available in MONO block as well as 2-piece and 3-piece construction.

Forging process

This is the process of forging a solid billet of aluminum between 2 forging dies under extreme pressure and compressing it in several work steps at 10,000 tons of closing pressure. Thus creating a product that is very dense, very strong and very light weight. The wheel and its characteristics designs are milled using CNC processes from a raw forged wheel blank. Results are better strength and resistance than equivalent cast wheels.

Strength

Forging increases grain structure in metals and therefore increases Ductile Strength in Aluminum making it the strongest technology when manufacturing wheels.

Each wheel is individually manufactured. Starting with 2D & 3D Rendering to CNC milling & lathing and finally hand fished to deliver perfection.

When forging the perfect wheel, our designers and technicians consider various parameters and data points on the vehicle.

Our International Quality Control, ensures each wheel meets international standards with vigorous testing, while maximizing atheistic and stance!!

Design

What it does allow for is endless design capabilities.

Forged wheels are available in MONO block (1 piece construction) as well as 2-piece and 3-piece construction.

Safety

All FEWL82 products are produced using material science T6061 AERO SPACE aluminum.

* JWL (JAPAN LIGHT ALLOY WHEEL)

* JWTC (JAPAN WHEEL TEST COUNSEL)

* VIA (VEHICLE INSPECTION AUTHORITY)

* TUV (EU)

Forged Wheels typically have higher loading rate than OEM wheel even though the wheel can be up to 25% lighter than your OEM Aluminum “cast technology” wheel
